1.    Introduction

The WAD system comes with web based Advertisement service, which allows the owner/manager of the venue to send out advertisements in video, picture, audio or texts to the hand phones and tablets. For the bars and restaurant, the advertisements can be a picture of today's special, a promotional discounts, a last call for drinks, someone left his car lights on, etc. You can post any advertisement by simply logging in to www.gocinet.com with your account. At gocinet, you will find detailed instruction on how to setup your account, how to create your advertisement, and how to post your advertisement.

2.    Requirements

2.1  Connecting to Internet WAD 110/120

Add an Internet connection to WAD 110/120 by connecting an Internet line (LAN) to the back of the port located in the picture shown below.

2.2  Connecting to Internet WAD 104

NON-POE Router

The Internet cable (CAT 5, 5E, or 6) in yellow connects the WAN port of the router. This cable from the Internet source is assumed to come from an independent network with its own DHCP server, thus connecting to the WAN port of the router. Here we show the configuration using a switch, which, as shown in Section 1.2.1 of WAD 104 manual, can be removed and the WAD-104 can be connected directly to the router using a LAN (CAT 5E or 6) cable.

POE Router

For a POE router, the Internet cable (CAT 5, 5E, or 6) also connects to the WAN port of the router. This cable from the Internet source is assumed to come from an independent network with its own DHCP server, thus connecting to the WAN port of the router. Here we show the configuration using a switch, which, as shown in Section 1.2.2 of WAD 104 manual, can be replaced by the power injector.

The NON-POE port shown in Section 1.2.2 of WAD 104 manual is configured as WAN by the firmware setting in the router. Note that some routers may not have an extra port, thus unable to connect to the Internet.
