Special Features

The WAD system includes advanced features such as Auto Channel Naming, Advertisement, User History, and Remote Access.

The Auto Channel Naming, using the information sent out by the TV stations, provides the channel and program names for each TV channel. The names are displayed on the handphones installed with the Apps of the WAD system. The names change automatically when TV channel changes. This is a very convenient feature that allows the customers to select the audio channel by the channel name or the program name without searching up and down the dial.

The Advertisement allows the owner/manager of the venue to send out advertisements in full video, picture, audio or texts to the handphones and tablets. For the bars and restaurant, the advertisments can be a picture of today's special, a promotional discount, the last call for drinks, someone left his car lights on, etc. You can post any advertisement to the handphones and tablets of the WAD users by simply logging in to Gocinet.com with your account. At Gocinet.com, you will find detailed instruction on how to setup your account, how to create your advertisement, and how to post your advertisement.

The User History is a feature to collect the history of WAD users through the Apps. Data such as the watched channel, program, and time are recorded in the server monitoring the use of the WAD system per each individual customer. Such data exceeds the currently available marketing study that usually collects only the TV channel side of the information. Here the collected data reveals not only the TV channel watched but also the individual who watched, thus completing the information collection.

The Remote Access is a feature to monitor and control the WAD server via online. This is an important feature to centralize the management of muitiple WAD servers spread across the country or a state where the physical distances become prohibitive for traveling. The UI of the Remote Access feature is very similar to the display shown on the Console Tablet. You need only to login to our designated server to control the WAD servers no matter where they are actually located.

Please note that for the advanced features above, the Apps must first be installed into the handphones or tablets of the customers. The Apps are available for free at the Apple App Store for iPhone and iPad, and the Google Play Store for Androids. You can search for the Apps under the name "WAD".
